This has not been run, only scouted. Drive until the road ends, then start hiking up the river-left. There is a military post where you will be asked to show your passport. Hike along the hilly path until you reach a frightening wooden bridge. This would be the best put-in. There are several big, complicated drops that you’ll remark upon while hiking. This could probably be done in one long day. The best time of year is early summer, when the flow is high, although peak flows should probably be avoided.
