Pasrudarya:
Scouted but not paddled: end of August, 2007
Volume: 150 cfs at the confluence with the Fanndarya
Scouting revealed a good river of small drops. There is a road up the Pasrudarya, which makes scouting and access easy. It is a steep, small river. About 5 km above the town of Pinyon, the river is channelized and drops consistently in small increments. By the time it reaches Pinyon, it opens slightly becoming shallower. From Pinyon down to the Fanndarya, it goes in and out of channelized boulder drops and open rubble tumbles.
There may be more gradient farther upstream.
Recommendations: probably best around June/July.
